The Human Capital Lab’s Talent Development Community of Practice gathered for the first time recently, drawing engaged attendees from a wide variety of sectors and industries, including finance, energy, technology, the federal government and higher education.
Facilitated by Human Capital Lab Executive Director Rich Douglas, the group met virtually Nov. 7 and laid the groundwork for future monthly meetings, the next being Dec. 5.
“This is the group I’ve been looking for,” said one member, representing a large East Coast university.
This community of practice is for people who have made a career of talent development, as well as subject-matter experts who have come into the field either temporarily or permanently. Meeting virtually and self-managed, this community provides vital peer support and learning for talent development professionals from around the world.
