Human Capital Lab to host June 5 virtual event on AI’s role in talent development

The Human Capital Lab will host a timely virtual discussion on Thursday, June 5, focused on the rapidly evolving role of artificial intelligence in learning and development. The free session, titled “AI + Talent Development,” will begin at 1:00 p.m. CDT and is open to all talent development professionals interested in exploring how AI-powered tools can help create more adaptive, human-centered learning environments.

Participants will engage in a forward-looking conversation examining:

  • Augmented intelligence and ethical considerations

  • The role of AI in evolving learning ecosystems

  • Practical insights L&D professionals can apply in their work

Valarie Williams-Foy, Senior Organisational Development Consultant at Imperial College London, will guide the session. With deep expertise in organizational change and a global perspective, Williams-Foy will help attendees unpack the emerging possibilities AI offers in talent development—and how to harness them effectively and ethically.

This free, virtual event is part of the Human Capital Lab’s Talent Development Community of Practice, a community that provides vital peer support and learning for talent development professionals from around the world.
